- High-Strength Permanent Thread Locking and Sealing
- Oil-Tolerant Threadlocking with Normal Surface Prep
- High Prevailing Torque for Fastener Retention
Product Description
Permabond HM129 is a high-strength, medium-viscosity anaerobic threadlocker and sealant for permanent threaded metal fastener assemblies. It locks and seals bolts, nuts and screws and is also used on larger threaded assemblies. The 500 cP material reaches typical handling strength on M10 steel in 10 minutes at 23 deg C, working strength in 1-3 hours, and full strength in 24 hours. Its cured M10 torque is typically 33 N m break and 58 N m prevailing to ISO 10964. HM129 is also described as oil tolerant, while normal surface preparation remains recommended for consistent results.
Key features
- High-strength permanent locking and sealing: Locks and seals bolts, nuts and screws that require permanent assembly.
- Oil-tolerant application: Can tolerate some oil on surfaces, while normal surface preparation remains recommended for consistent results.
- High prevailing torque: Typical prevailing torque is 58 N m on M10 steel to ISO 10964.
Applications
Permanent locking and sealing of threaded metal fasteners and larger threaded assemblies.
