PERMABOND HM-128
Harmonization Code : 8001.20 | Unwrought tin: Tin alloys
Main features
- High-Strength Permanent Threadlocking
- Vibration-Loosening Control for Metal Fasteners
- Controlled Cured Torque for Permanent Assembly
Product Description
Permabond HM128 is a high-strength anaerobic threadlocker for permanent locking of bolts, studs and cap screws in metal assemblies. It is used in machinery, equipment and electric motor assembly to prevent vibration loosening and can replace mechanical lock washers in supported applications. With a viscosity of 500 cP at 25 deg C, HM128 reaches typical handling strength on M10 steel in 15 minutes at 23 deg C and full strength in 24 hours. Typical cured torque on M10 steel to ISO 10964 is 31 N m break and 40 N m prevailing. HM128 is a permanent general-purpose threadlocking grade rather than a removable fastener locker.
Key features
- High-strength permanent locking: Locks bolts, studs and cap screws for permanent assembly and is used to prevent vibration loosening.
- 15-minute handling on steel: Typical handling strength is reached on M10 steel in 15 minutes at 23 deg C.
- Controlled cured torque: Typical M10 steel torque is 31 N m break and 40 N m prevailing to ISO 10964.
Applications
Locking bolts, studs and cap screws; machinery and equipment assembly; electric motor assembly.
