- ISO 220 PAO Gear Lubrication
- High-Load Oxidation Resistance
Product Description
MOLYKOTE L-1122FM Synthetic Gear Oil - ISO 220 is an amber ISO 220 PAO gear oil with rust, oxidation, anti-wear and corrosion-inhibiting additives. It is used in gears, gearboxes, pumps and supported food-machinery lubrication points. The oil has current NSF H1 registration for incidental food contact. Typical properties of this grade include 217 cSt kinematic viscosity at 40 deg C, 24 cSt at 100 deg C and a viscosity index of 127. The -39 deg C pour point and 500 deg F flash point are laboratory properties and do not define guaranteed startup or continuous operating limits.
Key features
- NSF H1 food-machinery lubrication: Supports incidental-contact lubricant selection for supported food-machinery gears, gearboxes and pumps.
- ISO 220 PAO gear lubrication: Provides an exact synthetic viscosity grade with 217 cSt typical viscosity at 40 deg C.
- High-load oxidation resistance: Combines PAO base oil with oxidation, anti-wear and corrosion-inhibiting additives.
Applications
Applications include supported gears, gearboxes and pumps in food machinery and other supported power-transmission lubrication points.
