Product Description

LOCTITE SI 5460 is a one-component oxime RTV silicone for flange gasketing and sealing. The smooth pink thixotropic paste is formulated for reduced migration after application and becomes tack free in 20 minutes at 25 deg C and 50+/-5% RH under the stated test conditions. Applications include stamped metal covers, timing covers, and oil sumps where resistance to automotive engine oils is required. After a one-week cure at 25 deg C and 50+/-5% RH, cured properties include tensile strength of at least 1.7 N/mm^2, 240 to 360% elongation, and Shore A hardness 44 to 56.
