Product Description
LOCTITE MR 5009 is a one-part solvent-based gasket sealant and dressing made from elastomers and resins in acetone. The red liquid dries by solvent evaporation to a highly tacky layer for sealing or bonding preformed rubber, cork, felt, paper, and metal gaskets. Typical as-supplied data include specific gravity 0.87 at 25 deg C and Brookfield viscosity of 235 to 305 mPa s at 25 deg C. The colored layer makes application visible. Typical uses include threaded hose connections.
