LOCTITE AA 3922
Harmonization Code : 3919.10.80 | Other self-adhesive plastic rolls not exceeding 20 cm wide.
Main features
- Second-Scale UV Fixture
- Low-Viscosity Precision Bonding
- UV-Fluorescent Bond Inspection
Product Description
LOCTITE AA 3922 is a low-viscosity UV/visible-light-curing adhesive for fast bonding of stress-sensitive plastics, glass, metal and ceramics. At 25 deg C its viscosity is 150 to 450 mPa s, and fixture can be reached within 10 seconds on glass at 6 mW/cm^2 measured at 365 nm. The material fluoresces under UV light, supporting visual inspection for adhesive presence. Typical cured properties include 135% elongation and 18 N/mm^2 tensile strength after 30 seconds per side at 100 mW/cm^2 and 365 nm using an electrodeless D bulb. It was specifically developed for stainless steel cannula-to-hub, syringe and lancet assemblies.
Key features
- Rapid UV Fixture: Fixture on glass is 10 seconds or less at 6 mW/cm^2 measured at 365 nm.
- Low-Viscosity Dispensing: Typical viscosity is 150 to 450 mPa s at 25 deg C and 1,000 s^-1.
- UV-Fluorescent Inspection: The adhesive fluoresces under black light to aid inspection for adhesive presence.
Applications
Bonding stress-sensitive plastics, metal, glass and ceramics, including cannula, hub, syringe and lancet assemblies.
