LOCTITE 85H

Main features

  • Methyl Cyanoacrylate Chemistry
  • Fast Fixture Speed
  • Chemical Resistance

Product Description

LOCTITE® 85H™ is a one-part methyl cyanoacrylate adhesive formulated for bonding metals to rubber, as well as ceramic and ferrite materials. This low-viscosity adhesive cures with atmospheric moisture and develops functional strength rapidly, making it suitable for close-fitting parts. LOCTITE® 85H™ offers resistance to many solvents and chemicals and is designed for applications where fast fixture speed and reliable substrate bonding are important.

Key features

  • Methyl cyanoacrylate chemistry: One-part adhesive that requires no mixing before application.
  • Fast fixture speed: Achieves fixture time of ≤15 seconds on EPDM under ISO 4587 test conditions.
  • Chemical resistance: Resistant to many solvents and chemicals for demanding bonding applications.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Metal-to-rubber bonding
  • Ceramic component bonding
  • Ferrite material bonding
  • Close-fitting part assembly
