Product Description
LOCTITE 5156 VRF is a single-component, medium-strength anaerobic acrylic sealant designed for sealing close-fitting metal flanges, rigid metal faces, threaded pipes, and fittings. The material cures in the absence of air between mating metal surfaces and provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly. Typical applications include gearbox and engine casings, pumps, fluid power systems, and other metal assemblies requiring a form-in-place gasket or thread-sealing solution. The sealant exhibits high uncured viscosity, UV fluorescence for inspection, and reliable sealing performance across a range of industrial maintenance and assembly applications.
