- Low-Viscosity Optical Encapsulation
- Water-White LED Encapsulation
Product Description
HumiSeal UV12 is a one-part optical encapsulant that combines low viscosity with fast UV response for LED and light-array applications. Typical viscosity is 2,500 cP, and the water-white urethane/acrylate material remains workable until UV exposure. With a typical UV dose of 1 to 2 J/cm^2, it reaches handling condition in 30 seconds. The clear rigid cured material has Shore D80 hardness and a typical operating-temperature range of -50 to 125 deg C. Its one-part format and transparent final appearance fit LED encapsulation and other optical applications.
Key features
- Low supplied viscosity: Typical supplied viscosity is 2,500 cP.
- 30-second UV handling: Handling condition is reached in 30 seconds with UV exposure.
- Clear rigid cure: The cured material is water-white, clear, and rigid.
Applications
LED encapsulation, optical applications, and light arrays.
