Product Description
EPOCAST 1645 FR A/B is a two-component, ultra-low-density, flame-retardant epoxy void and edge filler for aerospace interior honeycomb structures. Both components are soft, non-sticky pastes that mix at 100:100 by weight or volume. The material can be applied manually, supports water cleanup after application, and is sandable within two to three hours. The room-temperature-curing system reaches a one-day cure and uses a color mix indicator for uniform blending. Applications include core reinforcement, edge sealing, component assembly, and aerospace interior honeycomb structures where FAR 25.853a and BMS 5-28 Type 9 requirements apply.
