- 175 +/- 15 cP Viscosity
- 200% Cured Elongation
Product Description
Cyberbond RBUV207B is a one-component, light-straw UV-curable modified acrylate adhesive for plastic bonding, particularly PMMA and polycarbonate. Typical viscosity is 175 +/- 15 cP. Under 395 nm light at 50 mW/cm^2, setting time is below 4 seconds. Typical cured elongation is 200%, with Shore hardness values of 72 A and 50 D. Unopened product has a nine-month shelf life when stored in darkness at 8 to 21 deg C.
Key features
- 395 nm setting response: Setting time is below 4 seconds under 395 nm exposure at 50 mW/cm^2.
- Uncured viscosity: Typical viscosity is 175 +/- 15 cP.
- Cured elongation: Typical cured elongation is 200%.
Applications
Bonding plastics, particularly PMMA and polycarbonate, in UV-cured assemblies.

Physical Properties
Viscosity
175 +/- 15 mPa.s
Viscosity is a measurement of a fluid’s resistance to flow.
Viscosity is commonly measured in centiPoise (cP). One cP is defined as
the viscosity of water and all other viscosities are derived from this base. MPa is another common unit with a 1:1 conversion to cP.
A product like honey would have a much higher viscosity -around 10,000 cPs-
compared to water. As a result, honey would flow much slower out of a tipped glass than
water would.
The viscosity of a material can be decreased with an increase in temperature in
order to better suit an application
Other Properties
RoHS Compliant
Yes
RoHS is a product level compliance based on a European Union Directive which restricts the Use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS).
Products compliant with this directive do not exceed the allowable amounts of the following restricted materials: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), with some limited exemptions
Storage Temperature
8°C to 21 °C
Mechanical Properties
Elongation
200 %
Elongation is the process of lengthening something.
It is a percentage that measures the initial, unstressed, length compared to the length of the material right before it breaks.
It is commonly referred to as Ultimate Elongation or Tensile Elongation at break.
