BOSTIK F14-588

Main features

  • High-Shear Heat-Resistant Film Bonding
  • Plasticizer and Shrink Resistance
  • Flexible Decorative Film Lamination

Product Description

Bostik F14-588 is a flame-retardant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive film for laminating flexible PVF and vinyl decorative materials in aircraft and mass-transit interiors. The configurable film is available in 2 mil and 3 mil thicknesses, with dry-film weights of approximately 60 and 90 g/m^2. It combines high shear strength with heat resistance, good creep and peel performance, and resistance to plasticizer migration and shrinkage. Serviceable bonds are identified from -20 to 160 deg F, and the moisture-stable liner is designed for controlled handling during decorative laminate fabrication.

Key features

  • High shear and heat resistance: Combines strong shear performance with resistance to elevated service temperatures.
  • Plasticizer and shrink resistance: Resists plasticizer migration and shrinkage in flexible decorative-film constructions.
  • Two thickness formats: Available in 2 mil and 3 mil adhesive-film configurations.

Applications

Laminating flexible PVF and vinyl decorative films for aircraft and mass-transit interior constructions.
