Product Description
AXAREL 4000 Solvent Cleaner is an approved MIL-PRF-680 Type IV solvent degreaser for high-flash-point cleaning of heavy greases, mineral oils, lubricants, coolants, synthetic fluids, and particulate soils. Its 147 deg F (64 deg C) flash point combines with a specific gravity of 0.77 and low vapor pressure of 0.8 mmHg at 20 deg C. The solvent is applied at full concentration by brush, pad, cloth, or immersion and soak equipment, providing a focused option for aviation and defense maintenance cleaning where strong solvency, controlled evaporation, and low surface residue are important.
Key features
- Type IV qualification: Approved to MIL-PRF-680 Type IV for controlled solvent-degreasing requirements.
- High-flash-point solvency: A 147 deg F (64 deg C) flash point accompanies strong removal of oils, greases, and particulate soils.
- Full-concentration processing: Applies by brush, pad, cloth, or immersion and soak cleaning equipment.
Applications
Applications include commercial and general aviation cleaning, military and defense cleaning, and manual solvent cleaning.
